October 26 & 27, 2023
AT PURE CASINO in Calgary, AB
We are looking for volunteers to work casino shifts!
The Casino is our ONLY fundraiser for the AHTA and has provided us with over $320,000 to support our event sites, and our eventers in the last 9 years! Without eventers stepping up and volunteering we could NOT provide this level of support for our sport.
Alberta Horse Trials Association is offering some great incentives for volunteering – this is our major fundraiser – our eventing organization depends on it!
You must be over 18, all training is provided, and it is FUN!
Available jobs include:
BANKER – controls all cash and chip inventories (uses PC)
CASHIER – redeems players chips for cash
CHIP RUNNER – delivers chips from the banker to the game tables and records chip inventories with the gaming floor employees
COUNTROOM – sorts, counts and records money using count machines and PCs,
as well as other positions required for both day and evening shifts.
***reminder: volunteers are not permitted to gamble while on shift and are not permitted to consume alcohol nor cannabis during the shift.
