Important! Changes in 2022 to Sport License and Coaches!

With sport licence renewals opening on November 15, 2021, EC wants everyone to understand the important updates that advance Safe Sport principles and ensure you are ready for the 2022 season!
Safe Sport Training
New for sport licencing in 2022, all competitive athletes, owners, and officials are required to complete two EC Safe Sport training sessions, EC Concussion Awareness and Fostering Healthy Environments found in the ECampus link within your MyEC account. The training courses are provided FREE of charge to all sport license holders but must be completed no later than March 31, 2022 to remain a member in good standing. Coaches have safe sport training as part of their status program certification. Find your ECampus link once you login at https://licence.equestrian.ca/myec/login?lang=en
Coach Status
Holding an EC Coach Status will be required for all coaches at EC sanctioned competitions in 2022. The Coach Status Program remains one of our top priorities to ensure the safety of our sport. The program elevates the standards for equestrian coaching and offers two statuses – registered and licensed. Holding one of these statuses means EC has screened the coach and verified that training and insurance are current. If you haven’t already, we encourage all coaches to apply for or upgrade their status today! https://www.equestrian.ca/…/coaches/coach-status-program
